Sandy
Pitetti
With a Bachelor's degree from HEAD-Geneva in Visual Communication (2015), and over 9 years of experience as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator in Geneva, she is currently completing a Master of Arts in interior architecture at HEAD-Geneva. She is passionate about representing the space in which we live and which surrounds us, particularly through illustration and ceramic.
Sandy is particularly interested in the making and meaning of public spaces and their impact on the existing environment, intending to propose projects based on sustainable practice. She is interested in the fundamental role of public spaces in our society, as well as in the spatial and temporal distribution of the uses of public space. It is a space in which opportunities for socialization can emerge, but also a territory of confrontation and anonymity. She has been able to address these issues in various projects at HEAD-Geneva, as well as in seminars and workshops for the JMA - Joint Master of Architecture program, and will able to continue to work further on these subjects as a project assistant at urbz.
